RFP: State of opportunity from the date an RFP was released until the proposal is due for submission Pre-Awarded: State of opportunity from Post RFP (i.e., RFP Due Date) to Awarded. The following identifies the sub status for each of the high-level acquisition/procurement status identified above. Pre-RFP Pre-RFP (C2P Forecast): State of the opportunity when the Government has not released any information to date, but C2P’s research team determined that an awarded opportunity will most likely be re-competed. Pre-RFP (Agency Forecast): State of the opportunity when an agency’s long/short range procurement forecast exists AND no other notices (e.g., RFI) have been provided by the Government to date. Pre-RFP (Industry Day): The opportunity’s state when an industry event is the current or eminent. Pre-RFP (RFI): State of the opportunity when an RFI/Sources Sought/Market Survey is currently open. Pre-RFP (Pre-Solicitation): State of the opportunity when Government Pre-Solicitation notice is currently active OR the opportunity’s previous state was either Pre-RFP (Industry Day) or Pre-RFP (RFI). RFP RFP: State of opportunity from the date an RFP was released until the proposal is due for submission. Rolling Admission: Opportunities that remain open continuously or have a set open period when new solicitations are accepted on a predetermined, regular basis. Pre-Award Pre-Award (Sources Selection): State of the opportunity, after an RFP due date, until the Government releases an award announcement or a new Intent to Award: Announcement that precedes an award solicited using Sole Source Justification, which announces the government's intent to award the work to a certain company, and allows other companies a set amount of time to contest the decision before the award is finalized. Under Protest: State of the opportunity when a protest has been filed with GAO. Awarded: Awarded: An awarded opportunity with no announced on-ramp or continued open solicitation period.
